Louisiana Tech Career Fair
Katelyn Denley recently had the opportunity to participate in Louisiana Tech University’s Architecture Graduate Program BIM consultation—an experience that was both meaningful and rewarding. Giving back to her alma mater and to the program that helped shape her foundation as a designer is something she deeply values. She enjoyed engaging with students, answering their questions, and offering guidance as they continued developing their projects. Katelyn looks forward to following their growth and progress throughout the remainder of the academic year.
This opportunity led to Katelyn Denley and Haley Mitchell being invited to Louisiana Tech’s Career Fair Day, where Architecture and Interior Design students meet with various firms and participate in on-site mock interviews. The career fair gives students valuable exposure to the wide range of opportunities within architecture while helping them connect real-world professionalism with the design concepts they study in the classroom.
While there, Katelyn and Haley hosted a Pecha Kucha style presentation for interested students—filling the room—to share more about what the firm does on a daily basis and how it strives to make everyday places extraordinary. Following the presentation, students were invited to visit RDC National Retail Team’s table to ask questions about the firm, explore available opportunities, and learn how RDC supports professional growth. Throughout the day, the team also conducted sit-in mock interviews with students interested in joining the firm—creating meaningful conversations focused not only on how students can learn from RDC, but also on the unique strengths and perspectives they can bring to the team.
