Equinox Beale Street | Design that Moves People Forward

Located between the Financial District and the burgeoning SOMA region of San Francisco, this 35,600 SF luxe fitness club is a health and wellness destination amenity for the city. The design blends ‘hi-tech’ and ‘high-touch’ amenities in response to adjacent tech giant headquarters of this urban site. The rich blackened wood showcases the contrasting custom designed and fabricated light fixture composed of bending bronze rods and hand blown glass that weaves the entrance and guides visitors into the tech lounge. The driving concept for the design was linking the three stacked levels with an iconic steel and ribbed glass stair encased in concrete panel sheath.
