RDC collaborated with Element L2 and Caruso to realize the unique vision of Skyline Pitch for provision of soccer fields on the 8th floor of the parking structure at Americana at Brand, delivering a vibrant communal experience while reimagining and revitalizing the existing parking structure.
Skyline Pitch is a first-of-its-kind rooftop soccer destination that transforms the 8th floor of a parking structure at the Americana at Brand into a vibrant, multi-use community hub. Its defining strength lies in the adaptive reuse of underutilized infrastructure, converting a purely functional space into an elevated environment for training, play, and social connection. The project integrates small-sided soccer fields with lounge areas, food and beverage offerings, and flexible event spaces, supporting everything from pickup games and youth programs to leagues, watch parties, and cultural events. Framed by sweeping city views, Skyline Pitch blends sport, entertainment, and urban life, redefining retail environments as active, experience-driven destinations.
Designed as an active space for youth development and everyday play, it also serves as a gathering place during global sporting moments such as the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics, extending its relevance beyond daily use.
