RDC led the Mavis Tires & Brakes consultant team in the design of a vibrant, modern, ground-up automotive service facility. RDC successfully navigated the restrictive zoning and design ordinances within the Commercial Oriented District of Rock Hill, SC, coordinating closely with city officials to develop a contemporary site and building design. The use of dark red brick tones aligned with the City Planners’ vision, resulting in the successful opening of a much-needed service facility for the surrounding communities.

This Mavis facility was designed to meet or exceed LEED Certification standards, incorporating sustainable, environmentally friendly materials and emphasizing the adaptive reuse of the primary structure.
