Gucci Store at Americana at Brand

RDC served as architect of record for shopping center owner/developer, Caruso, preparing the store shell for Gucci at Americana at Brand, the sixth Gucci store location in Southern California. Services included adapting the shell of the prominent existing space to Gucci’s specifications, providing peer review for tenant coordination while meeting a tight opening deadline. In collaboration with Caruso and Gucci’s Italian headquarters, RDC reimagined the former two-story restaurant space, preparing it to meet Gucci’s standards and specifications, including an expanded ground floor. The work also addressed the structural demands of the renovation and the needs of residents living in luxury apartments above.
