Flower Hub

RDC reimagined an existing warehouse as Flower Hub, a modern retail environment that transforms an industrial structure into a welcoming and elevated experience. Through a redesigned façade and a cohesive interior approach, the design eliminates the building’s utilitarian character into a contemporary identity.
The design concept balances innovation with subtle references to the geometry of the cannabis flower. A restrained material palette of blackened metal, gray stone, and warm wood establishes a calm and grounded atmosphere within the check-in area, while moments of texture provide visual cues and guide circulation.
Within the retail space, the floor becomes a central storytelling element. Two tones of concrete are used to create a custom petal-inspired pattern that radiates outward from the Flower Hub logo, encouraging exploration and intuitively drawing customers through the environment. Above, large-scale LED screens are integrated into the display system, introducing a dynamic layer for digital menus, branding, and evolving content.
Anchoring the space is a custom woven installation that spans between existing structural columns. Inspired by the expressive, net-like sculptures of Janet Echelman, this suspended feature introduces movement, softness, and visual connectivity, contrasting the building’s industrial origins while reinforcing the project’s organic design narrative.
