RR 003: Dying Shopping Malls with Sean Slater

Shopping centers need to change before they die out, but there is still hope for malls that are proactive and take action while they still can.
Since the height of shopping malls in the 1960's and 1970's, demographics have changed, cities have changed, and the way we shop has changed. In the last ten to twenty years, malls all around the country have been closing down and staying abandoned with no end in sight. How can remaining shopping centers stay on top of their game before it's too late?
We sit down with Principal Sean Slater as he talks about the state of shopping centers and how developers can still turn things around if they are willing to completely rethink their business model. Adaptability and flexibility is key. Listen to the full episode below.
