Francesca Franchi, AIA, LEED GA joins RDC as Principal

RDC welcomes Francesca Franchi, AIA, LEED GA as Principal in the Washington D.C. office.
RDC is pleased to announce Francesca Franchi, AIA, LEED GA, has joined our Washington, D.C. office as a Principal. Francesca brings to the firm more than 30 years of experience having designed a diverse body of innovative projects crossing a broad spectrum of markets including master planning, commercial office, residential, retail, mixed-use, and community across the U.S. and internationally. In her new position, she will serve as a design leader and mentor responsible for design methodology, project visioning and strategy, thought leadership, and sustainable design advocacy.
Some of Francesca’s most recognizable projects include placemaking for Ballston Quarters in Arlington, VA; Rosslyn Central Place in Arlington, VA; The Reuters Building at 3 Times Square in New York, New York; The Torres de Palermo Hollywood in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in Shanghai, PRC. Passionate about learning and education, Francesca serves as Thesis and Jury Critic at The Catholic University of America Architecture and Urban Design Studio. She is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and currently serves on the D.C. Chapter Placemaking Council and Women’s Development Collaborative. Francesca is also a member of the AIA|D.C. Design Excellence Committee as well as a member of the NAIOP DC|MD Awards Committee.
