The Whiskey Thief

Named for the tool used to taste whiskey directly from the barrel it’s aged in, Whiskey Thief was designed to embody and celebrate Tennessee craftsmanship and its signature spirit. The design team focused on materials and settings that would enhance the tasting experience and the subtle variety of whiskey colors, while remaining mindful of the social context of the bar’s craft cocktails and bespoke food pairings. Located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, Whiskey Thief is a rooftop bar offering sweeping views of the Walnut Street Bridge, the Tennessee River, and the Appalachian Mountains.
