Stellar Cinema at Chengdu Sea Park

In an effort to upgrade the existing theaters and to establish design standards for future work, Stellar Investment Co., a leading Chinese entertainment and media company, enlisted RDC to redesign its Chengdu Sea Park location in Chengdu, CHN. The lobby, concession areas, cinemas, corridors and restroom of the multiplex theater were upgraded with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. The overall design focused on the materials used to simulate aquatic features, paying homage to the nearby marine life park in southwest China.
