Fitness Building

At Scottsdale Fashion Square, the desire to expand a luxury wing included adding a new multi-story fitness building. RDC served as architect for the new fitness building, including rooftop pool deck, weight rooms, yoga, exercise studios and areas for co-working. The architecture draws inspiration from the surrounding mountainous, desert landscape. The building uses a restrained palate of materials with bespoke detailing: weathered steel, fluted glass curtain wall, and pre-cast concrete panels with custom textured surfaces. The pool deck and the extensive use of glazing position fitness buffs to enjoy expansive views.
