Mitsuwa Marketplace

Previously a Marshall’s, RDC’s scope was the façade and shell renovation including any site/building utility upgrades for baseline food market use. The look and feel of this Mitsuwa is a clear departure from the Japanese grocery chain’s other stores, many of which feature traditional Japanese interior roofing and design appointments. Here at Torrance, the look is futuristic, sleek, modern, and clean, with almost no adornments on the walls. We also coordinated the site design for the new outdoor eating area. Mitsuwa’s architect was responsible for the T.I. and Outdoor Trellis.
