Edward has been practicing architecture internationally for over 20 years, with his experience spanning 14 countries, including the UK, Middle East, and various countries in the Asia Pacific region. He leads RDC’s Shanghai studio with a strong understanding of the market. His award-winning work ranges from retail, office, large-scale mixed-use projects to luxury residential/hospitality, education, and tall tower developments. His portfolio of built work includes a number of notable projects such as the China-Portuguese International Trade Centre in Zhuhai’s Hengqin CBD, Bank of China HQ for Western China in Chongqing, Peak Boulevard Luxury Residential in Shenzhen’s Qianhai FTZ, Wyndham Grand Luxury Hotel Resort along Sanya’s exclusive Haitang Bay and Estancia IT SEZ Integrated Township that established Chennai’s first Special Economic Zone for the south of India. He is a regular guest speaker at retail and mixed use conferences in the region. He has an interest in energy-efficient design having presented seminars on the subject of sustainability and has served as a visiting lecturer and external examiner at prestigious universities in China. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Queens University of Belfast in the UK.
