Imaged as a neighborhood-focused destination, the new design invites locals and travelers alike to relax and enjoy the lobby experience. A handsomely appointed 165-room hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast, the Claridge House recently re-emerged from a nearly $10 million renovation bringing a fresh new design and brand identity to the storied property dating back to 1923. Taking design cues from the property’s namesake in London, the design team focused on creating sophisticated appointments with a touch of whimsy, featuring rich furnishings, and playful lighting.
