Ray Huard of the San Diego Business Journal recently featured Sean Slater for his recent promotion to Senior Principal.
Sean led the opening and expansion of RDC’s Hillcrest Design Center office, and he has been instrumental in expanding RDC’s national place-making and mixed-use practice with new projects in Texas and Florida,” said Mitra Esfandiari, partner with RDC.
Under Slater’s direction, RDC is the architect of record for the redevelopment of Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego by Stockdale Capital Partners. RDC is collaborating with design firm Rios to reinvent Horton Plaza as a 10-block, mixed-use campus.
Slater is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), serving as co-chair of the national Entertainment Development Council, and is a member of the ULI San Diego/Tijuana Programs Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego LGTB Community Center.
