The Sheraton Grand at The Bloc
The Sheraton Grand at The Bloc won Gold for “Best Hospitality Project,” running against other major architecture and design firms. The Sheraton's design concept plays on the city’s heritage of 1920’s glamour while incorporating the clean lines, eco-friendly concepts, materials, and casual luxuries of today. The interiors for The Sheraton Grand were designed by Interior Designer Colum McCartan of McCartan Design. Colum transformed the hotel lobby into a new Starwood brand flagship. He designed the interiors of 496 rooms, one of the largest ballrooms in the region, a signature restaurant and a ground breaking lobby. Congratulations to everyone involved on the project and thank you to the Los Angeles Business Journal for recognizing us for this honor.
